Strata_Heat Mat takes the comfort of floor heating wire with the advantages of an uncoupling membrane, making a well-laid floor heating system that any homeowner will love! Strata_Heat will provide faster drying of the mortar, allowing for a shorter time to grout. Just like our other uncoupling membranes, it is specifically designed for use with both modified and unmodified mortars

Is the Laticrete Strata mat waterproof?

STRATA_MAT™ is not intended for use as a waterproofing membrane. It is not for worn surfaces; it must be covered with tile.

Can you use Strata heat in a shower?

Yes, however, showers may only have 120v systems. When installing a STRATA_HEAT™ Wire system in a shower, it must be placed between two non-combustible materials
