The Makita 18 Volt LXT® cordless barrel grip jig saw features Makita built brushless motor that delivers maximum speed, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Eliminating the carbon brushes, this BL™ brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life. It has three orbital settings plus straight cutting and an ergonomic barrel grip that allows faster and more precise cuts in a variety of materials. Saw has variable 6-speed control dial that optimizes speed from 800 to 3,500 SPM and allows user to match the speed to the specific applications. Tool-less blade change system in this saw provides faster blade installation and removal for enhanced productivity. Tool features dual ambidextrous On/Off button with separate lock button that helps to prevent accidental start-up of the tool. It has built-in dust blower that clears the line of cut for better accuracy. This jig saw with battery, weighs only 5.5 lb and has rubberized soft grip handle that reduces user fatigue and provides increased comfort on the job.
