Instructions (for maximum durability)

  • 1: DIP IN WATER before drilling and about every 5 seconds during drilling (more often when going through harder materials). We find dipping in water is more effective at cooling the Porcelain bits than spraying.
  • 2: FIRM PRESSURE: Let the bit do the work—do not apply excessive pressure. Place the drill bit on the specified mark, apply pressure, listen for a slight CRUNCH, and start your drilling process. Drill straight into the hole, and do not wiggle the drill.
  • 3: USE PROPER DRILLING SPEED: Speedbit: 2,300 rpms and slowed down while breaking through the hole. NOTE the higher speed for the Speedbit as most other spear point bits recommend slower speeds of 400-800 rpms.
  • 4: Handheld Drills Only.
  • 5: Do not use dull or damaged bits.
  • 6: Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during use and when handling bit.
