Raimondi’s anti-chipping (protects tile edges) and anti-scratching platform are designed with the RLS clip/wedge tile leveling system.

Prevents potential damage while laying very delicate tiles, such as certain rectified and polished tiles
It is fully compatible with all leveling clips with the RLS clip/wedge system, including extra-thin clips for .5mm (1/64″) and 1mm (1/32″) spacing
The platform performs two functions simultaneously: anti-chipping, as it prevents the stem of the RLS clip from coming into contact with the edge of the tile during tightening, and anti-scratch, as the wedge will not touch the tile due to it sliding over the platform.
Using the platform keeps the performance of the clips unaltered in terms of the max and min thickness of the tiles to be leveled
The platform will increase the joint size by .5mm to perform its anti-chipping function – for example, when used with 1mm (1/32″) clips, the total joint will become 1.5mm (1/16″)
Platforms are re-usable
When removing the clip/wedge/platform after the adhesive has cured, it is recommended to use a non-staining rubber mallet
It comes in a handy plastic bucket for easy storage and transportation
