SAM-3 is a 90 mil thick (1/8″) sound-deadening sheet membrane designed to reduce airborne (STC) and impact (IIC) sound transmission in applications with or without a sound-rated ceiling assembly (SRCA). SAM3 is an ideal solution for applications requiring integrated sound reduction with a low-profile installation, such as apartments, condominiums, classrooms, multi-family housing, hotels, high-rise office buildings, media rooms, children’s play areas, and other areas needing sound reduction
